Create Your Funeral Home's Website Today!

It's easy to create your free 5-page funeral home's website, that consumers can access while searching our directory of 23,000 Funeral Homes. Just follow the instructions below by filling in the blanks or making a selection from a pull-down menu. When you're finished, click the 'Preview This Profile' button to see a draft version of your Profile Page.

If there are any errors or omissions on your preview page, click your browser's "Back" button to return to the form, correct or complete the form and then preview your page again. If everything is now satisfactory on the preview page, then just click the 'Make Page' button at the bottom of the preview. That's all there is to making your profile site!

Security

You will choose a Filename and Password which will be used to administer your page. You will be able to modify the information on your profile page after it is created. For instance, if your email address changes, no problem, just come to the Funeral Home Profile section of Funeralville.com, enter your filename and password, and click the 'Update this Listing' button. Please select a password that you can remember. It's a good idea to write your filename and password down somewhere where you can find it later.

We also provide a backup where you can choose a security question and specify and answer, such as "What is your favorite pet's name?" If you forget your password, click on the link "I forgot my password", and you'll have to remember the answer to this question exactly. You'll also have to remember the filename of your page exactly no matter what in order to return to edit it -- if you forget your filename, try using our search engine to locate your file.

Filename and Password

You choose your Filename and Password by typing one word or combination of letters and numbers into the Password field. Use only ONE continuous password and NO punctuation or spaces. Try to choose a filename that is easy to remember, for example, if your business name is Willow Funeral Home, you might choose "willow" or "willowmemorial" as your filename. Your filename will become part of your Web address (URL) for your Profile Site. If your chosen filename is "willow", then the direct address to your site would be www.funeralville.com/homes/willow.html

Other Tips

After you fill out the Create Profile form, you will be able to see a Preview of the Profile pages. Make sure you use the Make Page button at the bottom of the Preview page to actually create the pages. If you quit at the Preview page, you won't end up with a Profile site. (This also applies when modifying your site.)

Troubleshooting:
Sometimes your ISP connection can have problems and disconnect, or maybe the host server was having temporary problems - ISP problems and ocassional technical glitches do happen. If you are having problems, please check to make sure you are still connected to the Internet via your ISP. Start over and try again if you have any problems.

Viewing Your Profile Site or Modified Site:
To view your completed site, go to the Funeralville Minisite Directory, and use the search box to enter your name or business name. If you are viewing a modified site, please be sure to click 'Reload' or 'Refresh' (depending on your browser) on in order to see the latest version of your site.
